Hi,
I am a Junior at CSUN right now. The thing you can do is to take 70 (it might be 50) units at SMC and transfer them over to CSUN. Its about 2 years at SMC and 2 years at CSUN. I did the transfer process all by myself (applied online and asked around and emailed with one person at Csun who helped me with what paperwork I had to turn in, such as proof of insurance, financial papers, original transcripts from SMC ect) but if you decide to go to SMC at first talk to a counselor and tell them that your plan is to transfer and they will give you a list of classes that are transferable to CSUN. You should take all your general education classes at SMC. for example english, math, some science, history and so on. After finishing you general education classes and some lower division classes in you field (accounting, business law, business 1 ect.) You will be able to just take all upper division classes in you field (business marketing) at CSUN, which will make it cheaper.
