School Stuff

Leste akkurat noen gamle sp.mål rundt dette, som du har besvart.. Maybe you would like me to write in English? I dont know, ill do that so its easier anyway :)
I checked on SMC and CSUN..And as you have said earlier in this blog, that you know many start at SMC cause its cheaper, and then transfer after a year to CSUN. As you did too then. So you are a sophomore now, right? Was it complicated getting transferred from SMC to CSUN? Cause the main problem here is, is that for Norwegians we do not get financial support for freshman year in USA. So it would make more sense to start at SMC cause its cheaper, and then transfer after a year to CSUN, cause then you get financial support.

What did you take first in SMC? Cause a BA in Science in Marketing is something im looking into as well.
Btw..do you know how much you paid per semester at SMC? (in dollars)
And in advance, thank you so much for your help!
Hi,
I am a Junior at CSUN right now. The thing you can do is to take 70 (it might be 50) units at SMC and transfer them over to CSUN. Its about 2 years at SMC and 2 years at CSUN. I did the transfer process all by myself (applied online and asked around and emailed with one person at Csun who helped me with what paperwork I had to turn in, such as proof of insurance, financial papers, original transcripts from SMC ect) but if you decide to go to SMC at first talk to a counselor and tell them that your plan is to transfer and they will give you a list of classes that are transferable to CSUN. You should take all your general education classes at SMC. for example english, math, some science, history and so on. After finishing you general education classes and some lower division classes in you field (accounting, business law, business 1 ect.) You will be able to just take all upper division classes in you field (business marketing) at CSUN, which will make it cheaper.

SMC costs about 3000 dollars per semester.
Good Luck :)
